This long weekend is the perfect time to visit the spa

At this point, I know most of us are exhausted. Most of us are overworked, dealing with personal things, or simply just tired of all the noise. I’m sure that those of us who don’t get enough time to relax often daydream about getting a massage or facial treatments. Don’t worry, I daydream about it, too. Like all the time. Sometimes, we just need to take a break to recharge our minds and bodies—and we don’t have to feel guilty about it.

Sometimes I think I don’t deserve to have a break because there’s always that crippling feeling that tells me I have to work—that there are things I need to finish, and things I have to start working on. We don’t realize that it’s okay to just pause for a bit and let our minds rest. In doing that, our productivity can actually increase. In fact, studies show that frequent visits to the spa can result in better sleep, fewer sick days, reduced absenteeism, and less frequent hospitalizations.

Allow yourself to unwind, especially this long weekend, and visit these spas in Metro Manila:
