The beauty products you should bring to work

Notebooks, pens, and papers take up most of our desk space, and also other essentials like tissue or water bottle. So it’s basically like living in your home, minus all the relaxing. But what about your make-up products? Which of them should you bring to work? You never know when you need one, primarily when there’s an event you’re going to after work or for mid-afternoon touch-ups.

Here are the beauty products you should keep at your desk:

Blotting paper

This blotting paper from Innisfree is eco-friendly and can cleanse your skin since it’s made with volcanic scoria, an ingredient formed from lava. Available at SM Mall of Asia.

Face powder

Harsh lights from your office could make your face look pale, so try this Benefit Dandelion Face Powder. It gives a natural look that’s best for your workdays. It also has a hint of shimmer! Available at Greenbelt 5.

Hand creams

Hand cream is a definite must-have for your stressful work days or long commutes. This lavender-scented hand cream from L’Occitane can refresh your hands from all the typing. Available at Rustan’s Beauty Source.

Nail polish

You need to have at least one bottle of nail polish on your desk in case you’re prepping for a conference or dinner. Try this vegan nail polish from Ella + Mila: it has a subtle shade. It’s also free from dangerous chemicals that are commonly used in polishes. There’s also a chance that you might break a nail or you need to chip a pesky cuticle, so you may opt to bring a manicure kit instead. Available on Beauty MNL.

Multi-use products

When it comes to beauty essentials, it’s much easier to bring a multi-use product like Happy Skin’s Multi-use Mousse to cover all areas of your face. This color play can be applied to your lips, lids, and cheeks. Available at SM Aura.

Moisturizer

The skin has the tendency to dry up in an air-conditioned space, so it’s best to keep it hydrated. This Aloe Vera Gel from Mediheal soothes your skin and you can use it for your hair, body, and face. Available at Watsons, Greenbelt 1.
