Climate activist Greta Thunberg has had a great year so far. After staging the first Fridays for Future protest in August 2018, where she stood outside of Swedish parliament alone with the sign “Skolstrejk för klimatet” (school strike for the climate), she got to speak to United Nations (UN) leaders and became Time’s 2019 Person of the Year.
If you’ve ever wondered how this 16-year-old did it all, Hulu will be releasing a documentary with the working title “Greta.” According to Deadline, it will show Thunberg’s climate change activism from when she was still the lone protester in Stockholm to becoming the international beacon of hope for environmental activists worldwide.
There’s no news yet on whether the documentary will cover Thunberg’s trip to New York via sailboat for the UN Climate Action Summit, her emotional speeches, and her hilarious online debacle with Pres. Donald Trump. We’re also waiting for Hulu to drop the premiere date. The streaming platform still isn’t available in the Philippines, but we’re hoping that this gets picked up by local movie theaters.
