What we know about Wes Anderson’s new movie “The French Dispatch”

It’s been a long time coming but we finally have some updates on Wes Anderson’s new film. Last December 2018, it was announced that his new project “The French Dispatch” is described as a love letter to journalists. It is set in “an outpost of an American newspaper in 20th-century Paris.”

Last night, the movie’s official Instagram account had its first post, which was the poster of the film. It shows cartoon drawings of the characters in different buildings in Paris.

You can also see the names of the cast. There are Wes Anderson usuals like Bill Murray, Owen Wilson, and Tilda Swinton. Don’t worry, we didn’t forget about newcomer Timothée Chalamet, whose character is drawn sitting in a bathtub with a notebook in hand.

We can try to decode the poster even more or just wait for the trailer release tomorrow. We’ll probably stick to the latter so check back tomorrow to see what the trailer reveals about “The French Dispatch.”
