It’s time to know what happened years before the wedding as SCX, a sub-brand of Star Cinema, is producing a prequel to “Four Sisters and A Wedding.”
“Four Sisters Before the Wedding,” to be directed by Giselle Andres, will star Alexa Ilacad (Luna in “The Killer Bride”) as Bobbie, Charlie Dizon (Marikit in “Bagani”) as Teddie, Gillian Vivencio (Eri in “Eerie”) as Alex and Belle Mariano (Charie in “Lorenzo’s Time”) as Gabbie.
“Four Sisters and A Wedding” was released back in 2013 starring Bea Alonzo (Bobbie), Toni Gonzaga (Teddie), Angel Locsin (Alex) and Shaina Magdayao (Gabbie). It also starred Enchong Dee who played the role of the sisters’ beloved youngest sibling Rebreb whose wedding is the reason for their family’s reunion.
The film was about how the four older sisters, despite their differences, join forces to try and stop their brother’s wedding. Their plans don’t work out the way they intended, as the sisters end up having to deal with personal and familial issues that resurface during preparations for the wedding.
The upcoming prequel will be set 10 years prior to the 2013 film’s setting and will focus on how their relationships with each other came to be.
Some people on Twitter are excited about it, with some even wanting Mocha Uson to have her hair pulled again.
However, there were also some who think it would be a flop.
