Just in: Lady Gaga saved our May. The multi-awarded singer-songwriter announced that her sixth studio album “Chromatica” is going to be released on May 29. The journey (or Gaga’s space saga, if the album photos we have so far are anything to go by) continues. We too can finally ride that alien ship (and disco stick) with Mother Monster. The album is available to pre-order on Apple Music, Amazon Music, iTunes and you can already pre-save it on Spotify. (Is this the reason why people were tweeting about Spotify crashing early today?)
That’s not the only thing the artist shared today. She posted a tweet with the link to the Gaga Store where fans can now order official “Chromatica” merchandise. And get this, the merch list includes a “Chromatica” thong. Lady Gaga sure knows how to give her fans what they want. The hot pink number is just one of the many items we’re definitely eyeing. There’s a limited edition shirt with one of her famous quotes, “They can’t scare me if I scare them first” on the back.
Little monsters are celebrating on Twitter and already have their merch picked and pre-ordered. Shipping starts in four to five weeks so while your “Chromatica” fit might not arrive on the album’s release date, you can still be one of the first ones to cop it.
Not too long ago, we were given the tracklist and found out about the collabs with Blackpink, Ariana Grande and Elton John. May 29 is going to be such a great day for a lot of stans. We’re hoping that we’ll get treated to another music video. Imagine Ari or the four members of Blackpink in a “Stupid Love”-esque MV. We want to see it.
Whether or not you’re ready for “Chromatica,” it’s coming.
