We might not be hearing the Dua Lipa x Miley Cyrus collaboration in the near future, but in her recent guesting at “Watch What Happens Live,” Lipa did announce that fans will probably be hearing her single with Normani sooner than we think.
Host Andy Cohen did us all a favor by asking about these collaborations. Dua Lipa started off by explaining that she and Cyrus had other plans for their collab and was supposed to record before the pandemic happened. Good news is that they’re still planning to push through and they will be back in the studio after everything blows over.
The “Don’t Start Now” singer also teased us about her collab with former Fifth Harmony member Normani. It was really sneaky how Dua gave more details about the Miley collab and all we got is a “you might hear [it] soon” for the one with Normani. This has us speculating that we might be hearing Normani in the upcoming deluxe version of the “Future Nostalgia” album. For now, we’ll just be on Spotify waiting for it to drop (since she never really gave us a release date). Your move, Dua Lipa.
