Lady Gaga’s TV debut is fast-approaching. And the new details as to what exactly her character will be in the hit television show American Horror Story: Hotel are getting us worked up for its October release.
Time shares the few details that were made public after a press conference for the Television Critics’ Association. This includes how Lady Gaga has a central role in the series as the owner of the hotel where the show’s plot line will play out. “She owns the hotel, and she is sort of a very wealthy social doyenne who is consumed with art and fashion and people and she has a nefarious plan that is revealed in the first episode and plays out over the course of the season,” says AHS writer Ryan Murphy.
As to what exactly is the plan and how everyone else will be sucked into Lady Gaga’s twisted web, we’ll just have to wait till Oct. 7 to find out.
In February, reports that the hitmaker would be playing a lead role in the television series surfaced but without many details. It also came in as quite a surprise given the new and relatively tame image Gaga presented at the Oscars.
The fifth season of the primetime show includes Academy Award winner Kathy Bates and perennial cool girl Chloë Sevigny.
