Blackpink joins the Globe family and we’re screaming

Calling all Filo Blinks! Blackpink closes 2020 with a Filipino brand endorsement.

On Dec. 1, telco giant Globe welcomed the South Korean K-pop sensation into its family. Following the success of their first full-length album and the drop of their Netflix documentary, Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa will be bringing in tons of surprises for Blinks this Christmas season with Globe.

“This year has brought unprecedented challenges for everyone, locally and globally. Despite this, we strive to provide customers better everyday experiences that they will enjoy. Having Blackpink join the Globe family is proof that we won’t stop bringing the world into our customers’ homes. Blackpink being one of the world’s biggest groups has a huge following in the country. We want to bring our customers nothing less than the best in entertainment,” says Ernest Cu, Globe president.

Though we may not have been able to see our faves in person this year, Globe has brought them closer to us with platforms like Kmmunity and Virtual Hangouts. Now that Blackpink is joining the club, December has never looked this good for K-pop stans. Who knows what else is in store for the Filo Blinks this month? An online concert? A virtual fan meeting? We bet you wanna alert your stan Twitter GDMs.
