Ready or not, the finale for “Pearl Next Door” is coming this Saturday.
Things are heating up between the GL’s love triangle as the upcoming three-part season finale might have Pearl Gatdula (Adrianna So) decide who really owns her heart. Whether you’re on Team Pearleen or Team Pearlex, prepare to shed some tears during your virtual barkada watch party. (We’re still holding out hope for a plot twist that will give us a Pearleenlex throuple though!)
But before the drama starts, The IdeaFirst Company and the “Pearl Next Door” leads prepared a gift for the show’s fans. Today, they released a fun and sexy trailer for the finale. At the beginning of the video, we see Karleen Gregorio (Iana Bernardez) and Alex Aguirre (Rachel Coates) looking at each other while they’re on lounge chairs. They’re rocking their bathing suits, running their hands through the hair and doing cute poses, seemingly like they’re in competition for the title of hottest poolside gal. Then Pearl enters in her red bikini, and does a gorgeous hair flip. Karleen and Alex look in awe (I can relate).
It’s the type of trailer that you can’t resist but replay a number of times. Director Ivan Payawal really knows how to make fans happy. We can only imagine the type of scenes we’ll be getting with the trio finally meeting offline on the show. Are we getting another iconic kiss like the one we got on “Gameboys,” or will this season end with a cliffhanger? Either way, we’re definitely excited.
If you’re one of those fans who don’t want to see the show end just yet, don’t worry. IdeaFirst has already started shooting for “Gameboys S2” and we’re betting that Pearl is still part of its cast. We’re hoping that whoever she ends up with will be tagging along too.
