Get ready for Treasure’s fun and spunky first album

Treasure Makers, the wait is finally over. Today, YG Entertainment dropped the concept teaser for Treasure’s first album called “The First Step: Treasure Effect.” The company also revealed that our fave rookie boy group’s comeback is arriving sooner than you think.

The teaser is as bright, playful, and cool as the group’s other MVs. While it may be too early to call it, we’re fairly sure that Treasure won’t be departing from its fun yet fierce concept. In the video, we can see the 12 members (Hyunsuk, Jihoon, Yoshi, Junkyu, Mashiho, Jaehyuk, Asahi, Yedam, Doyoung, Haruto, Jeongwoo and Junghwan) enjoying themselves with such activities as dancing with inflatable tube men, playing instruments, and shooting a short film. The MV ends with a strong and touching statement: “Making the world bright, this is the treasure effect.” With the group’s comeback scheduled on Jan. 11 next year, we’ll be reuniting with our happy pills in two weeks.

Fans can start pre-ordering the record that comes in three different versions. One of the inclusions in the package is a random baby photocard (yes, the album contains more than one photocard) and it’s the first time we’re seeing one included in an album. Pretty cute, right? You can also opt for the KiT album (a type of album played on devices) if you don’t have a CD player at home.

Treasure will also be holding an online fan signing event on Jan. 15 where lucky Treasure makers will be given the chance to video call the members. You can purchase the album at the Ktown4u online mall to enter the contest.

Who else can’t wait to start their 2021 with the boys?
