The new Kylie Padilla x Andrea Torres GL series is looking really spicy

I have only one reaction to this teaser of “Betcin,” and it is this emoji: 👀

ICYMI, “Betcin” is a new WeTV Original GL drama. It stars Kylie Padilla and Andrea Torres as Beth and Cindy (the eponymous BetCin), a popular social media juggernaut couple reminiscent of the likes of YouTubers Rose and Rosie. They’re the hosts of a mega-popular online show and seem like they’re on top of the world.

As you can imagine, not all is as it seems. While the two are desperately trying to paint a rosier picture of their situation on social media, they are in real life about to break up. With all this already putting a strain on them, Beth and Cindy enter a social media sweethearts contest that essentially forces them to act even more loved up as possible on their digital fronts.

In the trailer, you see the couple flit from hugging and giving each other support to them fighting and screaming at each other’s throats. It looks like the show is going to be a messy and emotional rollercoaster, and I’m so here for it. Written and directed by Shugo Praico, it’ll be eight episodes long—perfect for a binge watch sesh.

Alright, now that all is said and done, I want to redirect everyone to this teaser shared on Twitter.

It’s a quick snap of Beth and Cindy sharing a tender moment and at the very last second, the teaser shows them making out. It’s a very good makeout scene, and as a sapphic horndog, I’m very excited to see more. We don’t really see a lot of hot passionate wlw kissing scenes, and the few that we do have are often made with the male gaze.

If you’re itching to watch this new GL show, you have just a bit more of a wait left. It’s premiering on WeTV and iFlix on Oct. 15.

In the meantime, you can stalk the Instagram accounts of its two stars who seem to have gotten real close with each other and with the rest of the crew. Padilla herself gushed about the team and the project in an Instagram post last July.

She wrote, “Met so many good [and] interesting people on this set, and I made friends. I’m not exaggerating when I say I will be sad to hear the last ‘pack up!’ from [director Pracio] today. I LOVE THIS TEAM, THE MATERIAL, AND THE PROCESS OF MAKING THIS SERIES.”
