Why Dingdong Dantes dedicates his vote to moms such as Marian Rivera

In the days leading up to Mother’s Day and the election, a lot of us have been forced to reflect on how our vote will affect our family members and whether opposing votes within the family can change relationships

With a touching tribute video, Dingdong Dantes tells us how family will inspire his choices come election day. Instead of voting just for himself, he has decided to offer his vote to mothers. Is it just us or is Dantes looking even more handsome right now?

As he lists the difficulties mothers face from giving birth to raising children, we see clips of his wife Marian Rivera and mom Angeline González Dantes sharing care work at home.

Walang hamong sinusukuan. Ibang klaseng magmahal, radikal.”

As a father, Dantes says that he not only sees mothers as the lights of the home or partners during difficult times. Moms also serve as inspiration to be good and to do good things. That’s why he says that he’s entrusting his dreams for his children and his family to his wife.

“Ipagdiwang pang lalo ang mga ina. Dahil alam nating lahat na totoong dakila sila,” he urged the public.

That’s what we call a wife guy and a zaddy in this neck of the woods. Like Dantes, we’re keeping all Filipino moms in our thoughts when we vote.
