Marian Rivera Offers Yayadub Advice on How to Deal with Fame

After having a much talked about career, a highly-publicized wedding, and the birth of a little daughter who’s making headlines even before her first birthday, it’s safe to say that Marian Rivera knows a thing a or two about fame.

So it was only right that Maine Mendoza, accidental star-turned-Twitter record-breaking phenomenon, sought out some advice from her.

The two met at last week’s GMA Thanksgiving Party and it seemed to have developed a fast friendship. “Nakakatuwa kasi, well, dumating ako wala na siya, e. Pero bumalik siya, ayun, bulungan kami nang bulungan, ang dami naming pinag-usapan, (It’s funny because I came to the party and she had just left. But then she came back and suddenly we were whispering to each to other, talking about a bunch of stuff),” Marian shares to Bandera.

Marian also reveals how Maine is still not used to all the attention she’s been getting recently. To this, Marian gave out a line you’d typically expect from her: “Okay lang ‘yan, i-enjoy mo lang. Ganyan ang buhay, eh, enjoy lang. (That’s okay. It’s okay, just enjoy it. That’s how life is so just enjoy.)”

And just maybe,  this is also may be Marian’s way of telling Maine that her time in the sun is about to  be over. Marian is set to make a comeback this year on primetime TV as GMA is lining up a lot of projects for her this year, including playing the role of Inang Reyna Mine-a in the remake of the fantaserye Encantadia.

Or is it possible that as the #Aldub sensation seems to be fizzling out, Maine can move on to other projects and even perhaps a collaboration with Marian?
