How Fast Can Lea Salonga Get Ready in the Morning?

It was just like yesterday (well, it really was yesterday) when Uniqlo Philippines launched their latest summer offerings (we suggest you go for the Dry Pique Polo that wick off sweat!) and their new influencers which include BJ Pascual, Antoinette Jadaone, Kenneth Cobonpue, and Lea Salonga. Why them, you ask? Well, it’s because they are inspiring people who have done great work in their respective fields, may it be in film, furniture design, photography, and music.

So, what does one do when they get to spend a few precious minutes (three minutes to be exact!) with one of them? And it so happens to be world-class performer Lea Salonga? You ask a bunch of random questions, that’s what! Just our little way to shake off our panic and to get to know where her head is at right now.

How fast can you get ready in the morning?
About 10 minutes!

What’s on your Spotify playlist?
The cast album of Hamilton.

Current LSS? May or may not be from the album.
LSS? I think, yeah! It’s from that album, it’s called “Not Throwing Away My Shot.”

What is the latest book that you have read?
I’m starting a new Harlan Coben one. I got one from his publisher and so it’s the book that I have to start soon.

Are you on Snapchat?
Nope!

What’s your favorite shade of lipstick?
Depends! Sometimes I like wearing pink and sometimes I like wearing a fiery red.

What made you decide to chop off your hair?
No great reason! I just wanted a change. I was tired of having long hair, I was tired of wearing ponytails, and not knowing what to do with it so when I cut it I just found that it was more versatile and that there was a lot more that I could do with it.

Best love advice that you have ever received ever?
“Go ahead and cry for a few days and after that, you are done.”

What do you consider as your comfort food?
Anything with eggs and rice.

Favorite piece from Uniqlo?
The quirky printed tops. My husband, for my birthday, got me a couple and I was so happy. They were printed and the size was perfect, so I put one on and we went out and I can handle the heat in a shirt like that!

Phew! That was fast!
