If you are the type who is in for a love story sans the cheese and with a little more depth, Equals just might be the movie for you this season. An entry to the Toronto International Film Festival, the official trailer is now out in time for its July 15 release.
Garnering mixed reviews from critics, Equals proves to be an intriguing take on romance as two people, played by Kristen Stewart and Nicolas Hoult, manage to develop feelings in a dystopian world where emotions have been eradicated. (Kinda sounds like a variation of The Island to me, but I haven’t seen Equals so I digress.)
Still, the movie promises to be a refreshing break from the mega-blockbusters lined up this season starring a lot of comic book superheroes and villains.
