If you’ve seen any of Sia’s music videos for ‘Chandelier’ and ‘Elastic Heart,’ you’ll recognize young dancer Maddie Ziegler in each of them―wearing a nude leotard and the signature platinum blonde wig. Now, she’s putting that look to rest as she works on being a judge on So You Think You Can Dance.
Yup, that brunette 13-year-old girl you see above is the same little girl whodanced with Shia LaBeouf in a cage. It may be a surprise to many to see her without the famous wig, but she has appeared on red carpets numerous times without it. (Or you know, you can also check her Instagram.) Maybe people forget that it’s just a costume?
You can also see Maddie donning her long brown locks on the latest issue of Seventeen.
So, does this mean Maddie will retire from dancing for Sia now that she’s busy with the show and other things? There’s no news yet, but hey, at least Sia’s mini-me is becoming her own star now.
