Teen Vogue released a feature centered on the Philippines’ idea of a love team and focused the spotlight on one of the most famous in the country today: James Reid and Nadine Lustre.
Yup, the JaDine tandem was recently interviewed by the magazine where they recounted the first time they worked on-screen to becoming a real-life couple. They were even likened to Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth, whose relationship also started on-screen.
“We never pretended to be together or lied to the fans. We were just friends, but they didn’t think so. When you’re in a love team, you have to work together,” James tells the magazine. He also adds that going public with their relationship “was a good decision and a weight off our shoulders.”
We’ve all heard news of their TV show and movie going worldwide, but this may be the first time that an international outfit featured their reel-to-real relationship. That’s a huge feat for the couple and we’d like to congratulate them.
Now, cue the flood of excited JaDine fans. Hooray!
