Kick Off September With These 13 Upbeat Events

It’s finally the first -ber month of the year! Are you hearing jolly Christmas songs everywhere yet? (Hey, don’t forget about Halloween first.)

Kidding aside, the first weekend of September is already greeting us with upbeat parties, eye-catching exhibits, and activities to keep us fit. If that’s not a good welcome to the month, then I don’t know what is.

See the opening of two exhibits tomorrow at the Underground Art Gallery. The first is Functional Cosmic Kingdom by Gene Paul Martin, Jacob Lindo, and Rene Bituin which will run until Sept. 24.

The second is Jan Balquin’s Colloquials which also runs until the 24th.
