If you’ve ever wondered what the children of Steve Jobs, former New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg, Sarah Jessica Parker, Matt Lauer, and Bruce Springsteen do together for fun it’s this: The Hampton Classic Horse Show in Bridgehampton. Yes, these high-profile scions are horse-riders and they’re pretty good at it.
Just ask Mary-Kate Olsen, who has ridden in the competition before but entered five horses in the current edition under different riders.
Held in the Hamptons, it is a very exclusive affair to mark the end summer for America’s elite and has been a tradition in the 1990s. This year, it happened just over the past weekend from Aug 28 to Sept. 4. Richie Moloney, champion equestrian who won the Douglas Elliman Grand Prix in Florida, took home the $300,000 grand prize.
