You’ve seen the Kalyeserye pre-nup photos, and yesterday, Maine Mendoza and Alden Richards finally tied the knot as AlDub.
In case you didn’t see the influx of social media posts all day, here’s what you missed out: Maine and Alden got “married” at the Shrine of Jesus the Divine Word in Quezon City. Maine wore a simple lace gown by Rosa Clara (which Liz Uy helped pick out) and had her makeup done by Lala Flores. Meanwhile, Alden looked clean and sophisticated in a white barong.
Their guests also included other Kalyeserye stars played by Jose Manalo and Wally Bayola, as well as other GMA stars like Vic Sotto, Joey De Leon, Jake Ejercito, and Ruby Rodriguez.
The #AlDubWedding became an instant trending topic yesterday (obviously) with fans freaking out and falling in love with the onscreen couple. Some were even asking if this is for real or not―even Inquisitr picked up on that.
As of writing, the hashtag #MrAndMrsRichardsOnSPS is on the top spot of the Philippines’ trends as the two is set to make their first TV appearance as “husband and wife.”
