Here’s some wonderful news this morning: Coldplay just announced that they’re bringing the A Head Full of Dreams Tour to Manila on April 4, 2017 at the Mall of Asia Concert Grounds.
The excitement began a few months back when an SM official allegedly confirmed their show at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. However, neither Coldplay nor any concert production confirmed this until last night when the band posted this teaser gif. (Make sure not to blink so you won’t miss it!)
Coldplay is known for hits like “Yellow,” “Fix You,”Viva La Vida,” and more. They also won Grammys for Best Rock Album (Viva La Vida) and Best Alternative Music Album (A Rush of Blood to the Head).
Based on footage of their live shows, as well as friends who’ve seen them live abroad, they put on a dream-like performance filled with balloons, neon-lit Xylobands, and confetti.
