Instagram’s year-end data shows that the five most liked Instagram photos of 2016 are all from one source: Selena Gomez. You read that right, all five.
Study them, appreciate the lighting, the caption, and the angles. Just don’t copy them flawlessly.
Earlier this year, she took the crown of having the most liked photo in the history of Instagram. It was a Coca-Cola ad, an effective move for the SODA company since she is also the most followed person on Instagram. From a reported 89 million followers back in June, when the Coke post went up, it is now at 103 million. She beats out Taylor Swift, Kylie Jenner, Beyoncé, and Katy Perry. I am sure that Selena’s followers are even bigger than the entire population of a few small countries.
Last year, Kendall Jenner nabbed the spot of most-liked Instagram post. In 2014, that spot was held by sister Kim Kardashian. Wonder who will take the crown in 2017? And will they be able to beat Selena’s record?
