Despite some controversy on what films should be shown and a questionable ambassador, this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival proved to be a success. The culmination of this revitalized festival was held last night at the Kia Theater with an awards night, tagged #GabingParangal.
Sunday Beauty Queen took home the big prize for Best Film while Erik Matti won Best Director for the horror thriller Seklusyon.
