Welcoming a new year is always a blast (pun not intended). From eating lots of food at family dinners to drinking one-too-many drinks at countdown parties, 2017 definitely didn’t enter in a boring manner. And I guess you can say 2016 had a graceful exit despite its ups and downs.
Like most of us, local celebrities also had their way of celebrating the new year―popping champagne, watching firework displays here and abroad, and taking cute family photos. We’re giving you a glimpse of all of those while you continue your celebrations throughout the day.

It looks like Laureen enjoyed a whole spread for New Year’s Eve. We spot a bundt cake, caviar pie, and champagne bottles. Yum!

Bela was part of the countdown celebration at the Philippine Arena. So if you were watching it on TV last night, you might’ve seen her wearing a green Neric Beltran dress.

Maxene and the whole Magalona clan welcomed the new year with confetti poppers in Shibuya, Japan.

Also in Japan is Meryll, who did a happy dance in a train station somewhere in Tokyo. What a way to start the year right.
Solenn Heussaff
Solenn certainly had a fun time this past year, which includes getting married to Nico Bolzico. So a night out with some girl friends is a good way to welcome another great year.

Belle also has a lot to celebrate with her new hubby Adrien Semblat. They did just that by enjoying a mug of hot chocolate up in the snowy mountains of France.

The Curtis sisters visited their family in Australia and rode a sail boat to watch the sunset before the parties happen. Of course, Anne also brought along her fiancé Erwan Heussaff to the family affair.
