Aside from Sushmita Sen, Miss Universe winners Lupita Jones (Mexico, 1991), Dayanara Torres (Puerto Rico, 1993), Dayana Mendoza (Venezuela, 2008), and Gabriela Isler (Venezuela, 2013) are also expected to arrive in Manila.
According to the Latin Times, the beauty queens confirmed that they will make an appearance in the 65th Miss Universe pageant on the 30th.
Dayanara arrived last night and said that she missed being in the Philippines. In case you didn’t know, she was in Hataw Na with Gary Valenciano and was also in a relationship with Aga Muhlach.
We’re also expecting Armi Kuusela (Finland, 1952), Porntip Bui Simon (Thailand, 1988), Jennifer Hawkins (Australia, 2004), Riyo Mori (Japan, 2007), and Olivia Culpo (USA, 2012). Our own Gloria Diaz and Margie Moran will also be present.
Can this pageant get any more star-studded? We definitely want to see this live or on our office TVs. Unless, of course, the government declares Jan. 30 as a non-working holiday.
