Maddox Jolie-Pitt Is the Executive Producer of Angelina Jolie’s Film

Angelina Jolie and Netflix recently premiered their film First They Killed My Father in Cambodia. The whole family (except Brad Pitt, of course) was there to support their mother as she talks about her passion project.

When it was reported that her son Maddox was involved in the film, it came as no surprise. He is, after all, Cambodian and was adopted by Angelina in 2002. So it really was a way to get to know his country’s culture and history on a deeper level. But apparently, his involvement was much more than we thought as he was credited as the executive producer of the film. Yes, he’s an EP at the age of 15.

Angelina’s project took years to create, she, along with Loung Ung wrote the screenplay and shelved it. It was last year when Maddox insisted that they bring the film project back to life. “He was the one who just called it and said he was ready and that he wanted to work on it, which he did,” Angelina said to The Guardian. “He read the script, helped with notes, and was in the production meetings.”

With movie production experience as early as now, what more can he do in the future?
