“A #GIRLBOSS is in charge of her own life. She gets what she wants because she works for it,” says Sophia Amoruso of Nasty Gal. And by the looks of the Girlboss trailer, that is exactly what she did.
Sophia posted the trailer of the upcoming Netflix series on her Instagram and here’s what we found out: The series will consist of 13 half-hour episodes and will premiere worldwide on April 21.
Played by Britt Robertson, Sophia went from selling vintage clothes on eBay to starting a multi-million dollar fashion empire, Nasty Gal. A company whose job is to “inspire and be inspired by cool girls the world over.”
Kay Cannon, the writer of Pitch Perfect and 30 Rock, created the show. While Christian Ditter, responsible for How To Be Single, directs. Charlize Theron and Sophia Amoruso herself are executive producers of the show.
