Jemima Kirke Has Been Wearing a Natori Silk Robe Since ‘Girls’ Season 1

Girls fans would know Jessa’s (played by Jemima Kirke) penchant for a specific silk robe in the show. She’s been wearing it since season one, and costume designer Jenn Rogien reveals that it’s made by Filipino-owned brand Natori. Whoa!

“The red kimono is from Jessa’s closet from season one. She’s worn it every season,” Jenn tells New York Magazine’The Strategist. In case you’re wondering, she’s wearing the Mikado Robe which costs $180. It’s available on their website if you want to cop it.

Natori, owned by Josie Natori, is known for its lingerie and sleepwear. Earlier this year, they released their spring/summer ’17 collection, which consisted of floral and tie-dye prints.

Aside from Girls, you can also find Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester) wearing several Natori pieces on Gossip Girl. Other Hollywood celebs who’ve sported Natori were Amy Schumer, Nina Dobrev, Kate Beckinsale, Emma Roberts, and Emily Ratajkowski.

The next time we watch a TV show or film, we’re definitely keeping our eyes peeled for more Natori appearances.
