It’s been a controversial couple of weeks for Pia Wurtzbach and Marlon Stockinger. After the revelation that Marlon fathered model Kit Barraquias’ twins, people have been speculating on whether the two have split up.
However, recent photos show the couple having a date at a restaurant in Makati. The photo also comes days after they were spotted celebrating Marlon’s birthday.
We don’t know for sure whether Pia talked to Marlon about his kids. But it does seem like they decided to maintain their relationship.
Calm down, fans. You can stop checking their Instagram accounts on whether they still follow each other or not. (They still do, FYI.)
However, this also doesn’t change the fact that Marlon should take responsibility for his actions. Earlier, Kit told an entertainment site, “He’s the biological dad. I don’t wanna say he’s the dad … just the biological dad.” This is telling Marlon’s role as the dad of the seven-year-old twins.
There’s also the issue of being honest to Pia. In a previous interview, she was asked about her reaction about the news of Marlon’s kids. She asked, “Are you sure it’s the same Marlon?” No one deserves to be blindsided like that.
At the same time, no one should meddle with their decision to stay together or break up since they have private lives too. But we do hope that Marlon does take responsibility for his mistakes toward the two women.
