The long break gave many of us ample time to relax in various travel destinations in and outside of the country. The best part about traveling isn’t just eating local delicacies or picking up souvenirs. Oftentimes, the memories of picturesque sights and experiencing big and small moments are what matter. Cheesy, I know, but it’s true.
While most of you are still on vacation mode while catching up on work, we checked out where our local celebs and influencers spent their breaks. We found the usual spots like Japan and Korea, as well as other destinations we’d like to put on our travel bucket list.
Maine Mendoza
Maine Mendoza went back to New York City and couldn’t get enough of Times Square’s busy street. She and her companions even had fun with American Eagle Outiftters’ 15 Seconds of Fame photo booth. Spot her making a goofy face on the LED billboard.
Tricia Centenera
When you’re at a scenic location like the Gyeongbokgung Palace in Seoul, we’d totally understand if you take a quick OOTD shot. Just check out how chic Tricia Centenera looked in her all-black ensemble.
Solenn Heussaff
Who wouldn’t want to train to be a badass ninja? Solenn Heussaff and Nico Bolzico trained for one day in Japan, and they look like they’re ready to take on anyone who comes their way.
Liza Soberano
Liza Soberano, along with Enrique Gil, Kim Chiu, Xian Lim, and Sam Milby, went to see a Golden State Warriors game in California. Hope they didn’t lose their voices while cheering.
Kylie Verzosa
A beauty queen’s duty doesn’t end. During the break, Miss International Kylie Verzosa visited a school in Brunei and bonded with the kids there. After that, she got to relax at the nearby beach.
Maureen Disini
Designer Maureen Disini bought a loot of Peru’s coca candies after taking this vendor’s photo. For those who don’t know, coca candy is made from the same plant as cocaine. Kimi Juan
Aside from enjoying Basco, Batanes’ beach, Kimi Juan also got a pleasant surprise from boyfriend, now fiancée, Thomas Caja. Congrats, guys! (You can also read their love story here.)
