After weeks of speculations, we finally hear something from Marlon Stockinger out of this twins-reveal-slash-is-he-still-with-Pia fuss. If you haven’t been caught up (Seriously, where have you been?) it was recently revealed that Marlon is a dad of two daughters by Kit Barraquias. A frenzy came about and both Pia and Marlon stayed silent in the whole ordeal.
Things started to settle down when he and Pia were caught on a date on Marlon’s birthday week. Still, Marlon didn’t speak up on the matter. Only after almost a month does Marlon post a photo of him and Pia on Instagram, shot by Raymond Isaac, that he says something about how he and Pia are. “Nothing’s changed,” the caption reads along with a wink emoji. Profound…not.
Not that the relationship should be any of our business. But the pitfalls of living life in the public eye do come with a certain responsibility. It’s cool that Pia and Marlon seemed to have worked out what could have been a messy situation. But will Marlon ever address his role to his two daughters? As a man in the spotlight, it could do him and a lot of people well to set a good example when it comes to owning up to his responsibilities. Perhaps we just need to wait a little bit more from this man of a few words.
