If there is one beauty queen you have to watch out for, it’s Mariel De Leon. She announced recently how she will be starring in a film reboot of Ang Panday opposite Coco Martin.
The film is set to be an entry in the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) this year and takes off from the story which became first popular in 1980, starring the late Fernando Poe Jr.
On her Twitter account, Mariel expressed how she is looking forward to learning from the experience along with how grateful she is for the oppurtunity.
Earlier this year, news broke out of how Coco Martin shall not be only starring in the Ang Panday movie but will also be directing it.
On the other hand, Mariel De Leon has proven she is defintely a different kind of beauty queen by taking to Twitter to address how Mocha Uson doesn’t have enough merit to hold her current position under the Duterte administration.
Go, Mariel! Conquer as many things as you possibly can!
