Watch the Trailer of the Local Film That Raked in 20-Million on its First Day

You read that headline right, the local film starring John Lloyd Cruz and Sarah Geronimo earned P20-million on its first day and it’s still going strong despite the rainy weather. What’s the hype behind this film and why are people lining up to catch it?

After three long years, they’re finally reunited (such a cheesy word!) on the big screen with their movie Finally Found Someone, where we see a funny and more mature Sarah Geronimo play a role of a girl who was ditched at her own wedding and is trying to find her way back to love again. That was a mouthful, but you know how these plots go. John Lloyd is the knight in shining armor (or not) who tries to help her recover. Do they fall in love in the end? I dunno, I guess we have to watch the film to find out.

To get you started and enticed, here’s the trailer:

JLC and Sarah already starred in three movies in the past, A Very Special Love back in 2008, You Changed My Life in 2009, and then It Takes a Man and a Woman in 2013. So yeah, the hype is that they have chemistry and people have been waiting for this to come out in a long, long time.

So are you making time to watch this new rom-com this weekend?
