Nikki Reed and Ian Somerhalder quietly welcomed their baby girl Bodhi Soleil Reed Somerhalder last July 25. The low-key couple announced their pregnancy in May with a post on Instagram saying, “How is it possible to love someone so much already? All I know for sure is it’s the strongest feeling I’ve ever felt.”
The couple has not officially announced the birth of their daughter and they might not any time soon. While on the cover of Fit Pregnancy, Nikki shared that they will be unplugging for one month following the birth of their child. According to People, she commented, “We’ll take the baby’s first month for ourselves. After the baby arrives, we’re doing one month on silence. Just the three of us, no visitors, and we’re turning off our phones too, so there’s no expectation for us to communicate.”
It seems like the family will be enjoying their time together before sharing anything with the rest of the world. Congratulations, Nikki and Ian! We can’t wait to see the first photos of baby Bodhi Soleil.
