Taylor Swift Reveals Rebellious New Look For Upcoming Sixth Album

Updated on Aug. 24, 10:56 a.m.

Taylor Swift has been keeping us on our toes since she posted that snake-like teaser. After much speculation, she finally revealed her sixth album: Reputation.

In a series of posts, Taylor announced that her new album will drop on Nov. 10 and the first single will be out on Thursday evening (Friday morning in Philippine time). The album art also shows a more serious and rebellious Taylor—far from the peppy demeanor we’re all used to.

Could this be a hint that she’s addressing all the controversy that swarmed her the past few years? Buzzfeed theorized that it’s highly possible. Especially since Taylor’s new album cover is like a direct shade at Kanye West and Kim Kardashian. Note how the font resembles the Life of Pablo merch, and how Taylor looks like she’s wearing a Yeezy sweater and rocking wet slicked-back hair like Kim.

Other than that, will she also sing about the sexual assault case? Will there be songs about exes Calvin Harris and Tom Hiddleston, too? We have so many questions!

Nonetheless, we’re sure the Swifties are excited, especially since Taylor Swift is on the fifth trending spot on Twitter right now. How about you? What do you feel about Taylor’s announcement and transformation?
