If you got distracted by the makeup and the other engagement news, there’s one wedding you should keep an eye out for: Anne Curtis and Erwan Heussaff’s nuptials. One bit of interesting news popped up today about it: Anne asked Luis Manzano to be her man of honor. Yes, it’s a thing and who says gender roles and rules can’t be broken?
Bandera reports how Luis mentioned it on a recent TV show appearance, “[Anne] sent me a letter saying na ‘may promise tayo sa isa’t isa and would you be my man of honor sa kasal?’ So kasama ako sa entourage ng kasal niya (Anne sent me a letter saying how we had a promise to one another and would you be man man of honor at the wedding. So I am part of the entourage of her wedding.)”
Luis also mentioned how Anne will be returning the favor come his wedding as she will be his best woman. It’s part of how they have been friends for so long, even before Luis joined showbiz, explains the actor.
Woot! We’re giving this a major thumbs up for friendship #goals and for doing away with the usual gender assignments. That’s what you call equality.
Now if only Luis can give us more details about the Curtis-Heussaff nuptials, that would be great too.
