Just days before last night’s Star Magic Ball, we listed the love teams we were excited to see walk the red carpet. Yesterday, we saw how the celebrities prepared for the big event from getting glamed up to braving the traffic. Now that it’s finished, we can’t help but go over went down. Checking social media and trending topics online, we decided to round up some of the best moments for those of us who were not there.
Dance Performances
Every year, ABS-CBN love teams prepare a cotillion dance number for their fellow celebrity friends. At this year’s Star Magic Ball, guests were treated to a choreographed performance by Daniel Padilla, Kathryn Bernardo, Liza Soberano, and Enrique Gil. The couples changed out of their red carpet looks and into more comfortable and colorful outfits.
The Bests of the Night
Just like the ball you attended in high school, awards were given out to acknowledge guests who stood out among the rest. Who won best dressed? Newcomers Kisses Delavin and Marco Gallo. Kisses wore a white gown by Francis Libiran while Marco was dressed in a sharp Nat Manilag tuxedo.
Additional awards included Belle of the Ball, given to Julia Barretto, and Brightest Star if the Night for Kathryn Bernardo. The pair named Couple of the Night: Jessy Mendiola and Luis Manzano.
First Red Carpet Appearance
Following the announcement of her second pregnancy, Sarah Lahbati walked the red carpet for the first time at the Star Magic Ball with fiancé Richard Gutierrez. Sarah looked stunning in a black Mark Bumgarner jumpsuit. It was off shoulder, had puff sleeves, and a long train.
After Party
What would this event be without music and dancing? After all the awards were given and everyone has finished eating, the real party began. Guests were treated to music by Nix Damn P, Sweater Beats, Tom Taus, and Moophs.
