John Lloyd Cruz Is Taking a Break from Showbiz

The past few weeks have been a whirlwind for John Lloyd Cruz. There was that issue of him being caught drunk on camera, his debut as a photographer, and his new relationship with Ellen Adarna going public. No wonder the actor decided to take a break.

ABS-CBN posted a press release announcing that John Lloyd will be taking an “indefinite leave of absence.” Aside from stating he will be taking a trip abroad for the said leave, not much was said after.

Perhaps this is the best thing for John Lloyd. The pressure of stardom can be toxic. Maybe the break can help him work on his photography, allow him to spend time with his loved ones, or simply just help him reconnect with what matters the most. All the best, John Lloyd.
