A good photographer can change up how a celebrity looks in a shoot. Since stars are recognizable by anyone, what makes your photos of them interesting is how you can show the audience a side they have never seen before.
Cole Sprouse, most of the time Riverdale sweetheart, but also occasional photographer to Kendall Jenner and Sophie Turner seems to know this. His L’Uomo Vogue shoot (and story!) with Sam Smith presents a different side of the singer.
Of course, Sam has transformed a lot given his weight loss. But the rugged and bad boy charm is apparent in these photos. Is it that smoldering stare? Is it the angle or the intense shadow play? Either way, it looks like Cole has got a gift behind the lens. And that Sam’s up for showing that he’s more than the man behind the songs you weep to.
