Georgina Wilson and Solenn Heussaff’s new show It Girls Besties has been on our radars since the first teasers came out. When it premiered last night, fans tuned in and shared their thoughts and reactions on social media. We also kept our eyes peeled to see if all our guesses were right.
Aside from the two It girls, husbands Arthur Burnand and Nico Bolzico, Jess Wilson, Martine Cajucom, and baby Archie Burnand also appeared in the show. Since Georgina and Solenn are already out there, we wanted to focus on the “supporting cast.” So here are the highlights from the first episode that people couldn’t get enough of.
#1 Nico Bolzico’s cooking skills
The show began with Solenn and Nico cooking dinner together. “He’s probably cooked for me maybe five times,” Solenn said in the confessional. But Nico eventually showed off his knife sharpening skills and helped with chopping carrots. Good husband points right there.
#2 The story of Solenn’s tortoise
Nico is known to be a prankster, but sometimes he does it to give a nice surprise to Solenn. One of them is their baby tortoise Patato. According to Solenn, Nico placed Patato in a tupperware as a gift and she demanded him to return it to his friend. But, as you can tell, the Heussaff-Bolzico household is keeping the tortoise as a pet.
#3 Baby Archie’s first photo shoot
Yay for baby Burnand footage! In the show, we got to see his first photo shoot with mom Georgina and dad Arthur. He wore a striped blue ensemble and a teddy bear-like costume in the shoot. Aunt Jess was also there to cheer him on and make him smile for the camera. We want more!
#4 Jess the good auntie and sister
We also get to see more of Georgina’s younger sister Jess in the show. In one scene, she helped Georgina with Archie as well as listen to her rant about body shamers and give her encouraging advice.
#5 Best husband award goes to…
During the Burnand photo shoot, Georgina had “a mini meltdown” in the middle of her first layout. Good thing Arthur was there to reassure and comfort her. “I told her that Arch and I are proud of her,” he said. Awww.
#6 Finding out more about Sunnies
One of the final scenes was Martine telling the story of how she started working on the Sunnies brand. “I left my dream job of five years,” she said while detailing how she and Georgina started Sunnies Studios. By the end of her conversation with Jess, Martine offered her a modeling job for the brand. So easy when your cousin has model potential, right?
