Apart from Alicia Silverstone, Britney Spears is having a major throwback moment. She was spotted in her recent Instagram video donning the white, belly button-baring shirt and short pleated skirt of her “…Baby One More Time” music video.
As W points out, Britney’s Instagram posts often consist of her twirling around in different outfits in her home without much explanation. Just have fun with it!
To the tune of Beyoncè’s “Don’t Hurt Yourself” and with the cryptic caption, we are lost also on what this video could mean. Is Britney going to save us from the current problems? Is she coming up with a throwback set for her Las Vegas residency, complete with the original beauty costumes? Is she reminding us what that we can pull off this look for Halloween?
Whatever Britney’s message is, I’m sure we will know in time. Or we won’t. It doesn’t matter, really, because we need to contemplate on how Britney has maintained her abs all this time.
