When John Lloyd Cruz announced his indefinite hiatus from showbiz, this also meant that he’s left his role on Home Sweetie Home. In the show, he plays Toni Gonzaga’s husband. So who will replace him for now? No other than Piolo Pascual.
It was confirmed via behind-the-scenes photos released by ABS-CBN. Although Piolo’s role wasn’t disclosed, it also doesn’t seem like he’ll play Toni’s love interest. He may even be a returning character since he made a cameo back in 2014.
How long will Piolo be in the show? A source told Bandera that it might last for four months. This comes as good news for #ToniOlo fans, especially after their successful film Last Night.
Meanwhile, for those who are waiting for JLC, there’s still no confirmation on when he’ll return. As you can see, he’s still enjoying his trip with Ellen Adarna.
