Maybe it’s because Christmas is less than a month away that’s why good things are happening left and right. First there was Lovi Poe’s encounter with Eddie Redmayne and now there’s Laureen Uy’s fan girl moment with model Gigi Hadid.
The candid photo teaches us two things: 1) how to look taller by wearing a hat and 2) we all have the same reactions when meeting our idols. On Instagram Stories, Laureen explained how she was caught off-guard when she turned out to be the first one to be introduced to Gigi. This was why she wasn’t able to get her phone ready. Good thing a photographer was on stand-by!
Laureen said in another post how she will be sharing more about the experience, including what she learned from the makeup masterclass that happened during the event.
The fashion blogger represented the Philippines as one of the #MaybellineItGirls, which gathered 16 influencers from 16 different countries for the New York launch of #GigixMaybelline. Tagging along the Maybelline New York experience was local beauty influencer Janina Vela.
