Ellen Adarna has been pretty low-key since she and John Lloyd Cruz became official. But recently, there have been speculations that the actress might be pregnant. This became stronger after she skipped last night’s Bench Under the Stars fashion show.
Sources close to Ellen confirmed to PEP that she’s pregnant with John Lloyd’s child. This comes after newscaster Jay Sonza’s alleged conversation with Ellen last October, which also included a hint that she’s engaged.
Although Ellen previously denied the claims, her absence in Under the Stars is still fishy. She’s one of Bench’s anticipated models for their denim and underwear show—you can’t miss her billboard along EDSA. Ellen also continued sharing her teaser videos and posters, but never announced that she wasn’t walking.
Why would Ellen be a no-show at an important event like this? The possible reasons can be she’s sick, has a last-minute meeting, or, yeah, she’s pregnant. After all, she did say that she wants a baby by 30 years old. (She’s 29 now.)
