Rejoice all you #KathNiel fans as the duo is set to finish 2017 strong. Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla nabbed the Best Foreign Actress and Best Foreign Actor nominations at the Blue Star Awards in Vietnam.
Their TV show Pangako Sa ‘Yo is also nominated for Best Foreign Film. Woah, Vietnam seems to love the two a lot. In the same category, the shows Moon of Desire and Sana Ay Ikaw Na Nga are also nominated. On the other hand, Kathryn and Daniel better prepare for some friendly competition as their fellow nominees include Meg Imperial, Andrea Torres, JC De Vera, and Mikael Daez.
This is not the first time that the duo has been recognized internationally. Earlier this year, their film Barcelona was part of the 21st Bucheon International Fantastic (BiFan) Film Festival in South Korea. Kathryn and Daniel also won the Best Foreign Actress and Best Foreign Actor awards at Vietnam’s Face of the Year in 2016.
