Proctor, the actor’s attorney. “Mark was a gentle and loving person, a person of great creativity, who was doing his best to atone for some serious mistakes and errors of judgment.” He also said that Mark’s family asked for privacy in this time of mourning.

The Los Angeles Police Department said that he was reported missing at 3 a.m. on Tuesday (Jan. 30). One law enforcement official disclosed details saying that Mark was found hanging in a riverbed area in Tujunga, LA. Though his cause of death is still not verified and is currently being investigated as a suicide.

His arrest in December 2015 and indictment last 2016 led to a search warrant only to discover more than 50,000 images of child pornography in his laptop and thumb drive.
