Could There Be a Sharon Cuneta and Gabby Concepcion Project in the Works?

If you grew up in the ’80s and ’90s then you know how intense the love team of Sharon Cuneta and Gabby Concepcion was. I mean, they actually fell in love and birthed KC Concepcion, remember? But after going their separate ways, they haven’t really communicated (or maybe they did, but in private. Who knows?!) or even worked on a project together. Until they started teasing us on social media!

It started with a birthday greeting that he posted on Instagram last Jan. 6, it was a screencap of a feed and a photo of Sharon with a write up that says, “Happy Birthday! Nagmamahal (with love), Gabby Concepcion.” The fans, as they should have, went wild! His comment section was flooded with hopeful replies such as, “Ayan na ngaaa!” (There it is!) and “Kumapit kayo mabuti mga SharonGabby fans!” (Hold on tight SharonGabby fans!)

Then we spotted a BTS clip of the two shooting a McDo commercial. “MEGA kilig, umaga’t GABI,” said their teasers posted online. Could it really be the beginning of something new?

Sharon would also continuously post photos of her with KC with captions like, “Kwaysie-Waysie of Shawon & Gwabby.” And “Goodnight a tu papá también.” (Good night to your father too!)

“Well played, fam. #NeverInMyWildestDreams,” said KC who couldn’t help but react to when Gabby finally followed Sharon on Instagram.

But the best post so far goes to Sharon as she posted an old school photo of her and Gabby with the most teasing caption ever, “This is only the beginning.”

Oh, dear! Let this be one of the greatest reunions ever. We can’t wait!
