Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan Split After Nine Years of Marriage

In an Instagram post an hour ago, Jenna Dewan and Channing Tatum announced that they have “lovingly chosen to separate as a couple.”

The couple met on-set while filming Step Up back in 2006, they started dating right after, and eventually tied the knot in 2009. Their only daughter Everly will turn five in May.

To us, it came as a shock, but others saw it coming. In Jenna’s interview with Health, she talked about her relationship with Channing being far from perfect. “When people say you guys have such a perfect life, I want to scream and tell them no one’s perfect,” she said. “I think there are such things as great fits. It is a great fit as long as you are growing together, and I think up until this point we’ve really grown together. Even if one starts to grow, the other catches up and vice versa.”

“We’ve always had the same values. But we’re not perfect! Are you kidding? We fight like other couples, we disagree about things, we have days where we don’t really like each other.”

Jenna also attended the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party solo and when she was asked where Channing was, she said that he was on daddy duty.

How could it be when they just posted a cute selfie of their painted faces care of their daughter?
