Janella Salvador didn’t want just a regular 20th birthday party. She really went the extra mile (literally) to visit the locations of her favorite film, La La Land.
She is in LA right now with her family and Elmo Magalona. In several posts, Janella showed how they dressed up as Mia—even wearing the same yellow dress—and Sebastian from the film. They posed and danced in a spot overlooking the city just like in the movie.
In another set of photos, Janella shared the other La La Land locations they visited like the Griffith Observatory and Smoke House (named Lipton’s in the film).
Janella said that after watching the movie, it had been her dream to visit all the places they shot in. “It gives me so much joy to think that I was finally able to experience it on my special day with people who are close to my heart,” she wrote on Instagram.
Belated happy birthday, Janella! We hope you enjoyed the city of stars.
